| Dam were formed in September 1997. | |||

Terrorizer
contributor and producer/engineer actively involved in the metal world, mainman N.Underwood is the driving force behind this project. |

|
A first demo entitled 'mymindisyourhell'
was circulated in 1999. This received widespread acclaim and helped establish the name of Dam as part of the elite of the underground scene. |

|
Using a combination
of live footage, film samples, moving images and creative use of video editing tools, Dam produced a CD-ROM, as well as live footage on VHS. (contact the band via e-mail for this) |

|
Self-produced T-shirts are available
through the website, distros, and at gigs. These have acquired a strong appeal due to the unique nature of their design. |

|
Spring 2001: Dam have now
produced a second demo. The new material - more powerfully than ever before - showcases Dam's seamless blend of death, thrash, black, and heavy metal. 'Come to Dust' will not fail to impress, and the band have yet to receive anything other than very positive feedback. |

|
Dam are planning a live assault on the UK
and Europe in autumn/winter 2001, together with other UK bands. Dam's live performances do not habitually leave crowds unmoved, as the emotionally involved and technically proficient renditions of the material continue to receive praise from all those fortunate enough to witness the Dam phenomenon themselves. |
